About the Artist

My interest in Environmental and Landscape photography began in the early 1980’s. Living and working in  high growth and fast developing Central Florida often means the pristine landscape of memory is not easy to find. This coupled with the effects of climate change will mean a quite altered landscape now and in the future. I am attracted to the medium of black and white photography because of the abstract quality it gives to the image and it seems to make it something other than a documentation.

I currently live and work in Central Florida and am an adjunct instructor of Photography at Daytona Beach College.
